I decided to do a separate post for this because it truly was a special moment for our whole family. All three kids were Christened on August 15, 2010 by Rev. Kevin Dixon (the same pastor/priest who married us 8 years ago. It was in the same church where John and I said our vows and began our lives together. We came full circle having our kids baptized there. Lucky for us, we managed to get them baptized at Rev Dixon's last service at St. Mary's Church in Kerrisdale. He is moving onto the main Anglican church in Toronto. It was definitely meant to be and it was the right time to have our kids go through this special ceremony. It was a hot day up there and we were surrounded by tons of our family and friends. Uncle Jim and Aunt Susan came here all the way from Tennessee! It was wonderful to share it with everyone, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, uncles and aunts! Thanks for everyone for making that day so special.

To tell you the truth, I barely remember the church service! I was too busy trying to keep my three squirming kids in place, quiet and ready for their cue! It was exhausting, but hilarious at the same time. From Connor going in and out the door, to Aubrey sweeping the floor in her dress on her belly...to Logan wailing out in front of the church....good times! Thanks to Uncle Jim for filming it for us so we can go back and remember it all over again!
