What a wonderful 3 day weekend! We got to spend all 3 days together as a family....it was a long time coming since John just came off the 2 busiest weeks he has ever had in his 5 years with the firm. He was in the office early, came home late and then continued to work from home into the wee hours of the night. Needless to say, we all just passed in the night it seemed. All of us were tired and ready for the weekend
We got some nice R and R this weekend. We took the kids to the Santa Cruz boardwalk to go on their first carnival rides, we barbequed in the backyard and let the kids play in the pool, we went on walks and just enjoyed eachothers company. It was definitely hard to have him go back to work today.
We love you and miss you already Daddy!
