Sping is here!

Connor touching his feet when I ask him where his feet are.

Picking his nose when I ask him where his nose is......

Touching his belly when I ask where his belly is.....

Hi Everyone! Spring has officially been with us for a while here in California but yesterday we were in the mid 80's! We went on a walk, did some errands, went to lunch....We were in the car headed to lunch in downtown Palo Alto when the song by "Low" by Flo-rida came on and for some reason Connor knows that song and you look back in his carseat and he is bopping to the music with a big ol' smile on his face. It is the most hilarious thing. He could be on the verge of falling asleep and that song will come on and he totally perks up.

The weather was so gorgeous, we came home and took Connor out in the backyard to run off some of his energy. He loved it, checking out all the flowers, rocks, grass...you name it he was interested in it. He kept trying to put rocks in his mouth, but pretty much just loved running around with daddy and kicking the ball.
We came inside to get him some water and noticed it was kinda hot in the house so we took of his shirt. That is where the pictures posted above come in. I can ask him to find multiple body parts and he knows exactly where they are. I don't know when it happens but all of a sudden your baby becomes a mini person and understands things you ask them to do. You can ask him to get his milk, his shoes, his jacket whatever and he will run through the house grabbing it and bringing it all back. It is so fun to see how much knowledge they are soaking up all the time.

We are having such a great time watching him develop his own little personality. Right now he is testing his independence which is interesting sometimes. But you just can't help but sitting back and laughing when a tantrum comes about. You wonder what set it off and it is like watching a mini drama as they work it out. It is so funny!

We officially ordered the crib for the baby this weekend so we are getting closer to D-day (Delivery!). It is getting exciting!

Hope you are having a great weekend.
