Thank goodness for thanksgiving!  I love the holidays for all great reasons people do....good friends, good food and fun with family.  This is the best time of the year and I can't imagine a more happy time for all of us.  Here are some photos above of our Thanksgiving with John's cousins.  I think they are actually second cousins...but cousins all the same!  Thanks to Max, Angela, Tycho and Ansel for hosting Thanksgiving this year for us.  The food was fantastic!  We each brought something over that was a tradition in our own families.  Christine and Dustin brought Granny Keele's noodles....this has been a tradition in the Keele family for years and years and years!  Angela made cranberry Relish which is another Keele family recipe.  We brought our Lemon Rice Stuffing which is a staple in my family and John's mashed potatoes which he has been in charge of for years in his family.  Trust me they are yummy, you just don't want to see what goes in there.  You gain weight just looking at them :).

The kids surprisingly did so well being at someone elses house.  Max and Angela have 2 boys so Connor was in heaven with all the cars and boy toys!  He wouldn't even sit down for dinner just ran all over and played with toys.  Aubrey fell asleep about 6pm and we just let her sleep on one of the beds.  All in all it was a good night.  We had fun catching up and enjoying an intimate Thanksgiving together.

Now with Thanksgiving behind us, we dive into Christmas and the big event of Connor's second birthday!  I can't believe he is turning 2....although he acts like a 2 year old sometimes, time has sure flown by.  We only have 2 more weeks here before we all make the trip up to see our families.  Aubrey will get to meet some of her uncles and aunts for the first time as well as John's dad who has yet to meet her!  We are looking forward to some quality time with everyone.  Lucky for Connor he will get to celebrate his birthday with all his uncles, aunts and grandparents.  Even 2 great grandmothers!!!  He actually has 3, but we don't think one of them can make it!  We will take lots of photos to document the occasion.

All in all, we are very thankful for the friends and family in our lives.  We love you all and can't wait to spend time with everyone.
