John forcing the hat on for pictures
Connor not wanting the hat on
Halloween as always is quite eventful. We tried to take the kids out together but as soon as we put on Connor's costume he started to have a complete fit. I am talking kicking and screaming....the whole 9 yards. We tried to put him in the stroller and he went straight as a board and was trying to kick scream the entire time. Even when we got him strapped in he wouldn't calm down. We didn't even get out of the driveway. The whole neighborhood heard him I am sure. Soon enough our neighbor came out to give Connor some candy and he was happy as a clam. All he wanted to do then was race around the front yard. NO trick or treating for us yet again this year.
Our sweet little lady bug Aubrey was just mellow and looking so sweet in her costume. She didn't make a peep but just looked around and listened to the world around her. After all of this, we came inside, fed and bathed the kids and put them to bed. We usually have around 50 kids come to the door, but surprisingly we have had maybe 10 kids so far and it is 8:30! I knew we shouldn't have bought that second big ol' bag of candy!
Anyway, hope you can really get a sense of our night from these photos....I know most of us of memories of bad costumes as kids! This is one of many that Connor will have!
